With over 14 years experience working with children with additional needs and challenging behaviour in both mainstream holiday clubs and specialist provisions, Nicola delivers an engaging and practical session aimed at enhancing the experience of children and staff/volunteers at your holiday club. Nicola unpacks why we might see certain behaviours and discusses Additional Needs and what these might look like in the context of a holiday club. The majority of the webinar is then spent advising on what strategies you could have in place to ensure everyone is having as much fun as possible, and that you as staff/volunteers feel able to positively encourage the behaviours you would like to see more of. You will also recieve a toolkit of techniques you can draw on when presented with behaviour that might be challenging.
