A network of support for children with additional needs

We have been working with families for over 30 years collectively before founding The Child Behaviour Network. Our goal is simple, support and empower organisations to become more accessible to a wider group of children, and ensure that children with additional needs are able to thrive within your organisation, giving families peace of mind that the needs of their children will be understood and supported.

Our consultancy and training services aid you in comprehending the needs of children and families better and improve your service quality and effectiveness. Leveraging a child-centred approach, but always keeping in mind the distinct ethos and culture of your organisation, we seek to identify the shared passion that unites us. Whether you are a school, Church, holiday club, restaurant, toy store, activity centre or otherwise, let's work together to ensure excellence in best practice for children with additional needs whilst contributing to your overall success as an organisation.

You can also join our network of professionals and organisations who we can direct our families to in the assurance that, through our work together, they have elevated their standards of accessibility and share our unrivalled commitment to the best interest of children and families.

Our services

Consultancy

We meet with you and find out more about your specific circumstances, the concerns that you have and any goals you already have in mind. We can then discuss a range of appropriate strategies tailored to your concerns and organisation's needs. A key strategy may include training yourself and staff/volunteers.

About me

My formal training is as a Norland Nanny, I have a first class degree in Early Years Development and Learning and a Norland Diploma, graduating top of my year.

I am a dedicated Child Behaviour Specialist with a strong foundation in Norland Nanny training. My compassionate approach blended with practical experience, research-based strategies, and a deep understanding of child psychology enables me to provide the very best bespoke training and consultancy.

I have unrivalled commitment to the best interest of children, particularly those with additional needs or challenging behaviour, and my fusion of experience and academia allows for a unique experience which blends expertise with accessible, relatable and realistic advice.

I focus on children's strengths and needs, and a diagnosis is not required, but the types of needs I specialise in supporting are typically categorised as Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Difficulties, Attachment and Trauma needs, or Down's syndrome.
